Three simple & effective ways to detox a chattering mind so you can go to sleep

You know when you're not going to sleep well. That mind just won't turn off.


It collects data and just swirls them around in a toxic soup of negative thoughts. And then you wake up in the morning and have limiting, impeding thoughts instantly at your fingertips.


Time for mental detox.


I have some favorite methods for this. Here are three of them.


 

JOT THEM DOWN.


The first is to begin documenting all the limiting thoughts. Just grab pen and paper (yes, I know it's archaic, but your brain releases thoughts better to paper than technology). And then jot down every. single. negative thought you have. And keep your pen and paper with you throughout the day, stopping to write any moment you have a negative thought.

#1 - You'll get really tried of stopping all the time and will begin to deliberately head off a negative thought.

#2 - You will discharge some of them simply by seeing them on paper.

ESSENTIAL OILS


Pure essential oils can clean off the cell receptors that information molecules bind to in your limbic brain and really help with the "washing off" and releasing of old, limiting thoughts, and the installing of new, helpful thoughts.

It's important that you use only the highest quality essential oils. You're inhaling them into your brain, after all. Let's treat ourselves well. I only recommend and use doTERRA. Find them on my site here.


#1 - Put a drop of essential oil in the palm of your hand.

#2 - Rub them together and then cup them over your nose & mouth.

#3 - Deeply inhale and exhale for 60 seconds.


You'll notice an incredible shift and resulting release. It's a good idea to do this several times a day.
